All veteran musicians of the South Sound music scene, Olympia's Freckles Brown Band came together in the spring of 2008 by way of a Craig’s List posting and some good luck, and has quickly become one of the busiest bands in the South Sound.

But Freckles Brown is not exclusively a festival band. Acting as “Bruce Wayne” at their daytime family shows, the band members' “Batman” personae come out at night, on rotation at several local venues, including the Fire Creek Alehouse at the Capitol City Golf Course, the Little Red Barn in Rochester, and several private social organizations.

Take a look at the website's guestbook comments, and both their schedule and previous dates in 2009 and 2010 and you will see they stay busy - some 46-live engagements in 2010 alone.

Take a moment to listen to mp3 cuts off of their own CD (Miles and Miles) as well as some cover tunes on the website. They have been well received doing original material, but can easily do a full show of covers. The musicians in Freckles Brown are great believers in the lost art of polished vocal harmonies (all four sing), and target their songs to the crowd they are playing to.
